ABOUT

In her hometown of Columbus, Ohio Jacque grew-up always knowing that she was an artist.  At the tender age of 3 years old she had her first art studio under the family dinning room table.  By the age of fifteen she began winning scholarships to Saturday morning art classes offered through the Columbus College of Art and Design.  After high school graduation Jacque would go on to receive a scholarship, to the  same college, where she continued her education and received a BFA with an emphasis on fashion design and fashion illustration.

Jacque started her 20 year art career freelancing as a fashion designer and fashion illustrator for a local independent clothing company.  Jacque then took a turn in her career when she accepted a position with Walt Disney Animation Studios in Orlando, Florida where she worked as animator.  Her film credits include: "Mulan", "Tarzan", "Lilo and Stitch", "Brother Bear", "Princess and The Frog", and other short films produced by the company.

With Jacque's strong design skills and love for fashion she and her husband, John, opened their Orlando, Florida studio "Pierro Studios LLC" in 2005 and expanded to printing and producing art & designs in 2010.  Jacque has licensed many of her designs and concepts to companies from around the world.
Today she concentrates solely on silkscreening textiles from her illustrations then designing and producing them into handbags, decorative throw pillows, and home decor art.  This gives Jacque the ability to oversee the vision of her artwork, designs, and the overall quality that she expects in all of her products.  Jacque is inspired by vivid & rich colors, fashion, layered textures, & nature.
