A little blog post lovin'

I just have to give a shout out and thank you to Paper Doll Vintage for adding my "Feathered Earrings" piece to a group of very talented Etsy artists that she highlighted on her blog today.  I'm honored and a little giddy for being in the company of the some of the top Etsy sellers... who I adore... like AshleyG, Ashley Percival, Art by Lola, and Corella Design.  And thank you so much for introducing me to the other amazing artists that you included in your post.  Love them!  Check out her blog post here

8x10 prints have definitely landed in the store front

Print of one of my paintings done by a combination of painting and silkscreening one of my drawings and patterns.

I just had to add some of my illustrations of my black cat to the store.  Different look than my fashion work, but who cares, he's fun.

If this print receives a good response I want to screen print this illustration onto tote bags.  Fingers are crossed because I want one for myself.

Lots and lots of new items listed to the store this week.  Little treasures everywhere, some twists and turns with some of the new images.  Even though the black cat isn't as fashiony as the fashion illustrations... I don't care, I just like him and he just needed to be added to the shop.  Lots and lots of fun stuff in my portfolio tool box that need to get out into the open for a breath of fresh air and to stretch their legs.

Lots and lots of fun work to accomplish.

Hitting the store soon, digital prints

This lovely lady will be making her way into the store as a digital print soon. I just have a few more paper and ink tests that I would like to do... so everything is just perfect.... before they make their debut.

The amazing Tracy Porter!

Made it out of the studio this morning to run a couple of errands with my little furry studio buddy...Lil' Miss Shimmey Marie.  Made some new friends today... at the BURLAP HOME store, very cool store, highly recommend it... with the delightful Patrick and his handsome little dog Mr. Cody... who Shimmey seemed to have a little crush on... can't blame her he's adorable.  

Now that we have settled back into the studio the day will be filled with listing new items to the store, photographing all the new yummyness, and creating some new fun things that have been spinning around in my head that will be making their way onto the design table.

Taxes and more new zips

This lovely urban chic lady is one of the newest designs that has made her debut in the Etsy store .

Today is the day that I tackle the receipts for taxes, almost everything is filed into their groups, I just have to start totaling the little buggers.  Hopefully I'll get a break so I can go back to the fun stuff of photographing the pile of new inventory for the store.  Then I have come up with some new fun design ideas that I would like to get started on, their quite different from the work that I have been doing lately, but none the less exciting.

I have a date with a calculator who's calling me.

This fun little zip was just added to the store last night.  She kinda has an urban nautical feel going on.

Trying out some new things with the lighting and camera settings, still trying to get the most professional  best looking photos possible.  Not there yet but I will get there.

My Walt Disney animation desk made it safely to her new home!

This isn't the new owner, he's his nephew who only drew on the desk for a little while then decided he wanted to watch "Finding Nemo" instead.  Little animator in the making?

My lovely Walt Disney animation desk made it safely to her new home in Atlanta Georgia.  Check out these pics that her wonderful new owner John kindly sent me so I could see her progress and new digs.  She fits right into her new environment and looks very happy to be back in the game of animation.  I wrote John a little note to give him some her back history,  I am so honored that he framed the notes and proudly displays them.

You're officially in the animation world John, have fun and enjoy every bit of it!

New products hitting the store!

These are just a few of the new pillows and little zip bags that will be making there way into the store this week and next.  Keep your eyes pealed for all the new yumminess. 


This past saturday was the lovely art and wine stroll in downtown Celebration Florida.  As wonderful as the event was it just wasn't quite the right venue for my expensive fabrics and products, they don't really mix well with people walking around with red wine, food and kids with great big suckers.  Next time I'll pick an event indoors without food or drinks.  I'll have pics in an upcoming blog post.
