Oooop!

Rule number one when dyeing fabrics, don't forget to put your gloves on.  Ooooop!  I think I'm going to have blue hands for a while now.  But hopefully the fabrics will turn out fabulous!
Cheers!

All finished

24"x 24" custom order pillow
Check out her backside

24"x24" pillow next to her 12"x12"pillow that inspired her design.

Wow, look at this big beauty!  I finished the 24"x24" custom order for my client over the weekend, and she's a real biggin' in all her glory.  I'm just going to have to design some more jumbo pillows for the boutique.
Lots and lots to do this week in the office and studio as well as prep the house for a weekend visit from my in-laws this up coming weekend.  Busy, busy, busy!
Off to the post office to send out my jumbo pillow to her new beautiful home.
Cheers!

On the design table

Well after a busy week of jury duty I am back in the studio/office with a project on the design table that I am working on for a client of mine.  This is a jumbo 24"x24" custom design pillow that is about mid way through the process.  Her panels have been cut and sewn together... front and back... and is ready for the zipper to be inserted.  Then onto sewing the front and back panels together, making her insert pillow, then this lovely lady will be done and ready to be sent to her new wonderful home.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Back in the studio

Phew, finally back into the office/studio for the rest of the week.  I've been missing in action mon-wed for jury duty, which by the way ended up being a very interesting, enjoyable experience.  We made some very good decisions for the outcome.
But now that I'm back to the business and design table I'm in thick of designing a custom jumbo pillow for a client of mine.  Really enjoying working on such a large piece, I'll take pics of the final product for the blog.
I just had to include the fun pic of my little sweet yet funnyPomeranian, Lil' Shimmey Marie.  Try to ignore the mussy fur from the dried yogurt.. that's also on her tags... it's her favorite treat that she had prior taking the pic.
Cheers!

Hi everyone! :)
Please excuse me while a do a little business on my blog.  I need to show one of my clients some pics of her custom order here because we are having some technical difficulties.  But please do enjoy the pics of the creative process.
Hi MaryBeth,
Look over the pics and let me know your thoughts on which design you would like to go with.  Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Happy Monday/Tuesday everyone!!!

Mom Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all you mom's out there!  Here's a little sneak peak at the gifts that I prepped for our mother's this weekend and a birthday gift for our niece who's turning a big 20, wow!  With a little acrylic paint, butcher block paper and stamps some gift wraps were created.  My my mom has the fun funky yarn bow because hers was the only one that would fit in it's box with it, but I think the other 2 still look smashing!
Happy, happy Mother's day and have a fantastic weekend!  Lots to come next week to the Pierro Studios boutique!

I'm Mr. Dunk to you!

Things have been so busy around here at Pierro Studios that I have neglected to post to my blog lately.  Lots and lots on the design table.  Custom orders coming in, orders from the boutique going out, business conferences to attend, a Royal Wedding to watch and of course always designing new products.  I have a list of new tote bags that I have been working on that will make their way into the boutique soon as well as some new prints on cradle boards.
But I took a quick break yesterday to take our very handsome yet very honorary terrier mix (Dunkin) to the vet yesterday, and I was informed by our wonderful long time vet that the boy needed to go on a diet.  He's a HEFTY 60lbs. now.  Dunkin is our rescue dog that we got from the pound when he was 3 months old, he's almost 6.5 years old now.  When we got him they said that he was 10 months old and that he was a dachshund mix. Yeah, I had always wanted a Dachsund.  He was 10lbs at the time so he wasn't suppose to have grown that much more, maybe he would get to 15-20lbs.  Well he surpassed that a long time ago, and now we have what looks to be a Basset/Terrier mix (we still love him tons though)... not really sure except that he now weighs a chunky monkey weight of 60lbs.  The boy has been put on a restricted low calorie food diet with plenty of green beans to keep him happy with his binge eating, plenty of walks during the day and hopefully I'll get him back down to under 55lbs.  He can do it he's the Dunk!  Maybe I'll make him wear that hat when we go for our walks.  LOL!
Cheers!
