What's the new project?

I'm working on a new fun project that I'll be able to share with you very soon that I have been working on, on my new secret sewing machine.  Below the secret project is a quick and not so great pic of the 27 new clutches, wristlets, and zipper pouches that I will be photographing and listing to the store as quickly as possible.  Psssssst this means there is going to be a holiday sale very soon, so stay tuned.

Computer out of commish for a few days

Wow, it's been a little tuff getting work over the last couple of days since my computer decided to go out of commission.  My shelves are full of inventory just waiting to be photographed to make their debut in the store, then whamo, computer died.  Everything is backed-up so no huge panic just a little bit of stall in the week.  I filled my time with tackling cleaning out piles of old drawings, files, sketch books ect. things that have been nagging at me to do for a while, this must be the universes way to get me to make time for this job.  Still more to do, but I really weeded out tons.

Just a little tease with a pic of another pillow to be listed in the shop.  Hopefully I can start tomorrow or this weekend to upload them.  How do you like her stripes of Turkish fringe, it makes her look like she has exotic tropical hair... how fun!  Wouldn't she just brighten any sofa or chair.

Sketches

Here are few drawings that I put together last night for a super fun project that I'm working on.

Cut and prep

This very rainy Saturday has been perfect to stay in doors to cut and a prep a mix of 24 new clutches, wristlets, and pouches that will be listed to the store once they are fully assembled.  Next, onto sewing all these lovelies once their zipper order comes in.

New silkscreen textile prints

I've been under the weather today so I'm late with posting, but I have finally pulled myself up to take some pics of the new hand silkscreen textile prints that I worked on last night.  I have a lot more that I want to do in earth tones so I can add new wristlets, clutches and pouches to store for the fall and winter season.

On and off the design table

Off the design table from last night are 2 new clutch designs awaiting to be photographed and listed to the store.  On the design table is a wristlet with her sassy zebra stripe that will be sewn today with some other new designs in the line-up.

New Clutch and Lil' Fat Bottom Bag

Some new bags that I worked on last night, I just had to take the sewing machine out for a run yesterday.  I tried something new by adding leather to the bottom of the Lil' Fat Bottom bag, I think it turned out pretty cute and will keep doing more of this addition as I design new bags for the holiday season.
